Certificate of Appreciation
Woodworkers of the Southern Peninsula recently received a
Certificate of Appreciation from Food For All. The certificate
was the result of Gaven Davis & Dennis Conner building
much needed shelving in one of their storage containers.
Food for All is an all-volunteer non-profit organization which
was formed in 1991 to meet the need for emergency food
relief which emerged from Poverty Forums conducted by
the former Shire of Flinders.
Each year Food For All is one of the charities that the toy team distribute their toys at the end of the year.
Up to the end of the financial year 2019 Food For All has packed and distributed 70,868 food parcels. Over the past fifteen years Food For All has packed and distributed 9,887 Christmas hampers and also given toys each year to (on average) 500 children of the families receiving
hampers.
The certificate received is a positive proof of one of the ways where WoSP contributes to the community welfare.
Many thanks to Gaven & Dennis for their efforts.

Thanks hillview
