We are located at the Vern Wright Reserve in Capel Sound.

The Woodworkers of the Southern Peninsula is a not for profit club which provides a well equipped workshop which meets the needs and interests of its members.
Club Benefits include:
- Sessions are available Monday to Friday covering wood carving, wood turning, general woodwork, segmented turning, toy making and furniture making.
- Equipment available consists of work benches, wood lathes, bench saw, mortising tool, bench planer, thicknesser, drill press, band saws, drum sander, compound mitre saw, a bobbin sander and a range of hand power tools.
- Kitchen facilities available for tea, coffee and socialising.
- Team Leaders are available at each session to guide and assist as required.
- Members choose their own projects and draw up their own plans. For some projects the team leader is able to provide a jig to assist.
- Optionally participate in a club community program to supply wooden toys to local charities
